In Bologna

Hi all

We made it to Bologna without incident. In a rare occurance we actually found our hotel with no problems. It was 15 minutes from the rail station in pretty much a straight line.

This is a pretty big city. We wandered it for a while but we're gonna need some map sooner rather than later. We actually had a hard time finding a place for dinner. Everything looked too touristy. We ended up at a tavern filled with college kids. The antipasta alone was enough to feed four - and it was fantastic. That didn't stop us from ordering the pasta course but we pretty much crawled out of there after that. I don't know how these people can eat so much.

My posts will be a bit sparse for a day or two because of the way Internet works here. I basically pay by the half hour. It's a pain - just give me a daily or weekly rate.
