Food to Date

We haven't posted many food pictures.  While the food's been good there haven't been too many standouts.  Here are picts of a few things that did stand out.

The ever popular brotwurst

A flemmish stew (had to have been stewing all day the beef was very tender) accompanied by apple sauce.

This was tomatoes and brie on toast (an appetizer Fran had).

Found a small Italian place in Honfleur - this is a proper Tartufo

A pretty good beef carpaccio in St Emilion.

Fresh squeezed OJ somewhere in Spain (it's soooo cheap here - like 1 Euro a glass).

The little green spanish olives were amazing.  I didn't get the name but have to look for them back home.

Eggs with fries for breakfast?

IMG 1207

A mixed "green" salad.  It had eggs, tuna, tomatoes, white asparagus, onions, more of those amazing spanish olives, and you dressed it yourself with olive oil and a white wine vinegar.

Monkfish cooked with olive oil and garlic (and potatoes)

We have had some amazing coffee (Fran is loving it).  This one is from Spain - it's a little place we've returned to because of the coffee
