Vacation from Vacation

Every trip we seem to reach a point where we need a vacation from the vacation.  I think San Sebastian may be the place.  We've been running pretty hard and had pretty high expectations (maybe too high?), at least for food.

Last night we had a couple of glasses of wine and some Pintxos (Tapas) for dinner.  We are both a bit worn thin from the pace and had sort of lost our appetite.  The pintxos were good and hit the spot but nothing stood out.  That said we also didn't follow Ken's rules for eating and we got the food just off a main square.  Tonight we'll try a few of the tapas places Jim recommended which, from the photo's he sent, looked to be better.

Today we're going to explore San Sebastian, we understand this to be just a few hour task.    Tomorrow or Tuesday we'll take the train or a bus to Bilbao (museum is closed on Monday).  Other than that we may just go sit by a beach until we leave.  Right now we're planning to leave Wednesday but we may move on to Sarlat a day earlier (i.e. go on Tuesday).
