Bar Orvieto

So yesterday when we got in we took a walk.  We wandered by this place with boarded up windows (newspapers on the windows).  We noticed about 7 pm that a few trucks had pulled up and the paper was down off the windows.  They were starting to do some work on the place.  We thought it odd they were working so late.  This morning we went by and the crew was still there working.  I mean electrical, carpentry, painting, flooring, plumbing – you name it.  About 4 pm today we walked by and they were opening boxes containing tables, by 5 there was a display case with actual food in the window.  Here’s the scene at 7 pm today (24 hours after they started): the grand opening of “Bar Orvieto”.  Not so much a travel story but just kind of fascinating how quickly something like this got done.
