More on the bus ride

I blogged from the phone a bit about the bus ride between Napoli and Sorrento.  All I can really say is there’s not enough money on the planet to make me drive this route.  I can’t even begin to describe the multiple lanes of traffic merging from all sides, people slamming on breaks, rabbit starting,horns blaring and all this with literally thousands of vespas swarming in and out of traffic going with or against the flow (it appears the lines on the road and traffic signs are totally for decoration cause they have nothing to do with how traffic works).  It’s really a nut house.

So Fran pushed and shoved her way to the front of the bus line and we were the last 2 on the 13:00 bus (next one was 2 hours later). We didn’t get to sit together but we at least got to the place we needed.
