Around Towns

Just a quick observations. Most quaint US towns (Chatham and Newport for example) are filled with shops containing merchandise that clutters our lives. I guess this is what the tourists want and the shop keepers are just trying to make a living. Still it seems every small town pushes the same brick-a-brack (perhaps the names change on the t-shirts). I'd like to see some shops that actually sell stuff that helps us with our living rather than fills our lives with stuff.
