Side Trip to Ravenna

Ravenna is probably best known as the home of the death of Dante (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dante), a poet best known for influencing the Christian view of hell with his poem the Inferno. Here’s how he’s doing:

Ravenna also is known for it’s architecture and church frescos. A few hours is plenty here and it’s a short walk from the train station. We had an enjoyable afternoon here but probably won’t rush back.
