We like staying in Covnent Garden in London. The area is central to all things theater, good food, and lots of activities. We stay at a hotel on Monmouth Street near the Seven Dials roundabout. It’s a roundabout that doesn’t quite have rules about being a road for cars or a pedestrian area. Subsequently it’s a bit chaotic to cross but you just boldly walk into it dodging the taxi’s zooming through it. It all seems to work and, to my knowledge, no one has been killed in it. Still it perplexes me as to how this is the case.
