News Flash: Food on Air France better than all Seattle

OK not really but it grabbed your attention and it was pretty good.

Ken:

  • Cahors Clos Triguedina 2005 (Malbec)
  • Tartare de tomate et jambon cru (Tomato’s and ham)
  • Daube d’aagneau (eat your heart out Zum – Lamb)
  • La Selection du Maitre Fromager (Cheese – OK not great)
  • Sorbet (Raspberry sorbet)
  • Port (10 year tawney – didn’t catch the brand – it was ok but not Warres).

Fran:

  • Pessac-Leognan Château Brown 2004 (Bordeaux)
  • Crevettes marinees a l’juile d’olive et et a l’harissa (shrimp)
  • Tournedos poele , risotto (beef and risotto)
  • tarte aux peches (Peach tart)
  • Café (Coffee)

Snotty sounding but really great.  Both of the wines were outstanding.  And this was airline food.  Breakfast is in about 5 hours! (I’m going for the crêpes, Carolyn is swearing she’s getting the waffles with peaches).  Will post some pic’s when we land.

Oh and I found the Magic Fingers!  Mmmmm Magic Fingers.

Carolyn found the movie “Marley and Me” – she was fine until the end then she cried – now she’s watching an episode of the Sopranos that we’ve seen 50 times.  Me I’m going for Hellboy II.  That’s it for now – good night.
