- No more than 10 tables
- Menu in one language (in this case Italian) – corollary: menu written in chalk on the side of the building is best
- No french fries on the menu (at least not in Italy)
In Sorrento you’d starve if you followed my rules. It is pretty touristy. Not to say you can’t find decent food (I had a spaghetti con scampi with the pasta home made and fresh giant scampi that was delicious) but the restaurant also offered a pizza with french fries and wurst. This must be something the German tourists want because just about every pizzeria offers it. I can’t figure who’d want wurst on anything.
Lunch was good too – we just ordered a mixed grilled vege platter with mozzarella and prociutto and melon. The melon was ripe and sweet.
The food looks wonderful! I'm with you, who wants wurst on anything. Dave and I ate lunch at Fondi's the other day and were both wondering if you guys were eating Italian Pizza!
